The Maryland Motor Officers Training Other Riders Safety program is led by multiple law enforcement agencies.
IMPORTANT UPDATE ABOUT BIKESAFE MARYLAND
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Maryland will no longer be able to offer motorcycle safety assessments through the BikeSafe program; however, in the next few months, we will debut a similar training called Maryland MOTORS (Motor Officers Training Other Riders Safety).
This class will have some similarities to BikeSafe in that civilians will have the opportunity to ride with sworn police motor officers. In addition to the rides, the instructing officers will be offering skills training and safety information.
We hope to begin offering these training classes in June of 2021. Check back here for additional updates.
- Riders will spend a day riding their motorcycle alongside law enforcement officers from around the State.
- Motorcyclists will receive tips to improve riding skills to ensure they are riding as safely as possible.
- These classes will be free to anyone with a valid motorcycle license but registration will be first come first serve.
