2024 Impaired Driving Law Enforcement Awards

This award is for an officer(s) in your agency assigned to traffic patrol and who achieved the award criteria during the calendar year 2024. Officers who are nominated for the first time will receive the DUI medal. Additionally, all officers receive and a pin recognizing the number of years the officer has received this award. Officers with 100 or more arrests will be honored with an ACE award. If you have a higher number of LEOs who meet or exceed your agency DUI arrest expectations based on the below criteria, please submit their names (up to 5 additional names) with all the requested nomination information. The MHSO will review and include as many nominees as possible. To determine the total number of officers who can be nominated for this award from your agency and the minimum number of DUI arrests for calendar year, please refer to the chart below:

If additional officers from your agency meet the requirements of receiving a DUI Award, but you have exhausted the number of nominations allowed, please provide all requested information in the below box for consideration by MHSO. This is not a guarantee of acceptance.

This recognition is for officers who, due to the nature of their assignment, find it challenging to make a high number of DUI arrests but still contribute to the fight against impaired driving.
