Please join us for a joint EAT Collaboration meeting on April 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for the next Occupant Protection, Distracted Driving, and Impaired EAT Meeting. The meeting will be held in a hybrid fashion – with an in-person option at the Maryland Transportation Authority HQ at 4330 Broening Highway, Baltimore, MD 21222, in the 2nd-floor conference room and online via Microsoft Teams.
Members of both EATs are invited to participate in this meeting, which will spotlight cross-EAT collaboration and conduct a case review for a fatal crash. This fatal crash involves impaired driving and speed and will focus on occupant protection use/nonuse. We’ll be looking for multidisciplinary perspectives as we discuss this crash. We want to know what YOU see. As a follow-up, we will also discuss some ideas submitted as tasks (action steps) for the 2026-2030 SHSP.
